We have outgrown our current location behind the Kershaw County Sherriff's Office in Lugoff and we need a new one! There have also been some concerns about our ability to reach everyone in our community due to our location behind the Sheriff's Office. We want everyone in the county to feel comfortable and utilize what we have to offer.
The Sheriff's Department has been amazing and supportive from the start of us and our cause. We would have not been able to open and grow without them! They are helping us in our venture to find a larger and better location based in Lugoff or Camden, due to them being a central location. Until a new location is found, please hold onto your donations as we have no where to put them right now.
The end goal is to open locations in all of our local towns so that those citizens will have a closer location to visit.
We need your help, Kershaw County, and are hoping that you will be interested in helping us in supporting this venture. We are looking for a building to operate out of in Lugoff or Camden as a base location. We also need someone with a flatbed towing truck to donate their time and effort to move our building once we find another location. Donations will help us move our building and Sheriff Boan is also donating so that we are able to find a new location and move our building. As most of you know, Cristin is currently fulfilling military obligations and will not be back until April 2024 and Maria has a year-long unaccompanied tour to Korea in November and will not return until November 2024. We need to find a new location and be set up to serve our community prior to November 1, 2023, if we can! We will be working tirelessly to find a new location by then.
